We don't want these chess sets to languish in a cupboard! Alongside the offer of free sets we are delighted to work alongside the Chess for Schools Academy to help schools make the most of this opportunity.

This scheme is fully backed by the English Chess Federation and is being run by established junior chess organizers. Chess For Schools is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children.

FOR SCHOOLS WITH NO CHESS

We can establish chess within your school, with all the benefits that the game has proven to bring.

 FOR SCHOOLS WITH THEIR OWN CLUB BUT LITTLE OR NO COMPETITION

We can help move your club to higher level status, with all the benefits that it will bring

FOR SCHOOLS WITH ESTABLISHED TEAMS AND A COACHING PROGRAM

You will already appreciate the level of staff [and cash] Involvement required to operate a club at this level. Our aim is to relieve the strain and increase your club's opportunity.

Whatever your current level of Involvement in chess, being part of ‘Chess For Schools' will help you raise your game with less personal input. Remember all participating schools receive 10 free chess sets.

Once registered you will receive details on how to participate in the scheme.
