A unique project to increase the playing of chess in our schools

Research across the world has proven that chess can play a unique role in stimulating and improving the capabilities of children and yet it still isn't widely available in English schools.

The Chess for Schools project has been created to encourage the playing of chess in our schools, both through the provision of free equipment as well as the encouragement of local and national coaching and competitive activities.
